A Supernatural Romance Across Time!
Enola Simon, Grey Witch, has travelled from her western North Carolina castle home to a stately manor in England where she prepares to cast a time-crossing spell to go back 70 years to her true love, Edward L. Thomas, "The English Sheikh," the famed hero of World War I exploits in the Middle East, on the day he is destined to die. She will swap her mind/soul with that of the daughter of the lord and lady of the manor, Winifred, a beautiful young girl who will soon die of pneumonia. Winifred will live in Enola's body in the future, and Enola will use her magick to cure her new body in the past then save Edward. However, Enola's friends are not ready to lose her forever and send a young man and her former teacher and mentor to persuade her to stay. The young man is Professor Van Helsing's great-grandson, and he brings his ancestor's journals and a cask of unknown contents to tempt her professional curiosity. She resists and casts her spell, which seems to fail, leaving her groggy, but it has worked. Winifred is in the present and is drawn to the cask which contains the dust of Dracula. Because he victimized her in the past, she is now defenseless against his influence and brings him back to undead life with an offering of her blood. And that's just scene one!
