SISTER WRAITH

A Ghost Story / Murder Mystery by Elizabeth N. "Betty" Stinson, writing as Nasa C. Chapman

1973:  On the advice of her psychiatrist, young Trisha Vonahan returns to her vacant childhood home to exorcise the ghosts of memory and unnamed dread that have tormented her since her older sister Trina's death in a fall thirteen years ago (1960). Instead of finding closure, she has a vision of her sister's ghost and becomes convinced that she was murdered. Using various pretexts, she invites back everyone who was in the house that night, and they come, bringing three innocent bystanders. She traps them all there to wait for the sister's ghost to return and point out the guilty party. But then her guests start to die...

SISTER WRAITH Rap

There was a little miss who had a big sis
And they lived in a house in the forest.
On a cold night the doll broke her neck in a fall
And had a demise quite horrid.

Now the little girl's grown, in the house on her own,
And her brain's bred a secret agenda:
She'll bring back all who might've caused the fall,
Find her sister's killer, and avenge her.

Her parents come to the house each with a new spouse,
Her mother's best friend the diva,
Her sister's roommate, her beau and his date,
The handyman -- and only he will believe her.

The poor girl will swear a restless wraith is in there,
Her sibling, and oh how she's missed her!
The night's young of course, Death rides his pale horse,
And seven more will join the sister.
